Economical use of resources, the smallest possible CO2 footprint or the highest possible degree of recycling are the order of the day in all sectors of our economy today. This means that at the end of the use chain, the yarn must be able to be dissolved back into its elementary components, i.e. carbon, oxygen, hydrogen and other minerals, through the use of micro-organisms. Then it is considered biodegradable. The advantage of such yarns also lies in their wearer comfort, such as through higher moisture absorption.
